Good for kids

This is better for kids

Response from developer

Thanks for the 5 stars! Awesome to hear it works well for kids. We aim to make healthy habits fun for all ages. If there’s anything that’d make it better for adults, we’re all ears. Your feedback helps us keep improving!

Love it

It really motivated me to do my workout the way I like.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the 5 stars! Love hearing it motivated you to work out your way—that’s exactly what we aim for. We’re always improving; if there’s anything you’d love added or tweaked, tell us!

Does not work

For $50 USD, I expected so much more. Great in theory, but it does not consistently or effectively read your movements and you end up doing 2 or 3 times the number of exercises.

Response from developer

Thanks for the candid review, and sorry for the frustration. We hear you on the $50—subscriptions aren’t for everyone. Detection shouldn’t make you do 2–3x reps. We’re actively improving tracking and would love to troubleshoot your setup (reach out to support@workoutlocker.app). Your feedback helps.

I want my money back

• Rep counting is unreliable. I wait for the green signal and do reps slowly and deliberately, and it still doesn’t count them.
• Requires form-fitting clothing to function at all. Having to change clothes just to use a fitness app is a ridiculous barrier.
• Exercise recognition is extremely limited. Jumping jacks are tracked somewhat reliably. Squats, a bit less so. Lunges and planks aren’t recognized at all.
• No Apple Watch integration. Why can’t this use my Watch to track activity? I shouldn’t have to carry a phone with pockets just to track a walk.
• No modified push-up option. I can’t do standard push-ups, and there’s no way to log a modified version — not that I’m confident it would track those correctly either.

Right now it doesn’t reliably do the one thing it’s supposed to do. Would appreciate an actual response from the team, and some real functionality fixes. I emailed the developer regarding all of this, but no response. Fake reviews are a gross way to scam subscribers. I’m going to put my time to Instagram to use and warn others.

Response from developer

Hi Ollie, sorry to hear about the difficulty connecting with our team, we aim to respond to all messages! Your feedback is super helpful, and will help us improve our next iteration - we're a new app & actively working on improving the detection model. Thank you again for the honest feedback. Even when it's difficult to read, comments like yours help us build a better app.

Helps Build Better Habits

I started using this when I noticed my motivation to keep moving was slowing down. I like that I pushed to exercise a bit when I want to scroll mindlessly. I actually locked my tv shows on my phone too so I have to stop watching and get some exercise in. Not only is it helping me exercise but it helps me be more present and on my phone less in general!

Response from developer

Thanks so much for the 5 stars! Love that it’s boosting motivation, nudging you to move when scrolling, and even locking shows so you’re more present and on your phone less. That’s the goal. We’re always improving—tell us what you’d love to see next!

Looks great— *but* $ubscription for non-subscription service.

Yeah, just that. I’ll subscribe to a newspaper because that software requires a subscription model— and I will pay a fair one-time fee and fees for version upgrades if I feel an upgrade is worth it— but I graciously decline a subscription for one and done software. Please consider changing your model, as I really like what you offer.

Easy and effective

It’s so easy to use and has cut down on my mindless scrolling. It adds a little activity and encourages me to stay focused. Definitely would recommend!

👍

Works as advertised. It’s helped me cut my screen time in half. Although you do have to pay a subscription to do any workouts other than squats.

Caríssimo

Ummm….??

Why are my apps now not locked? First 24 hours went well, but now everything is unlocked…. So this isn’t working as advertised.

Can’t delete

Downloaded but after finding out cost tried deleting app but it requests code which I never added one so nothing worked so can’t even delete the app

Nul…

La capture des mouvements est instable.
Le temps ne se cumule pas lorsque vous faites un exercice, mais doit être utilisé immédiatement. C’est complètement contre intuitif et inadapté au quotidien.
Fuyez!!!
Perso j’ai demandé mon remboursement.

Unlocking Exercices

How do I unlock New exercises? I only see squats

Thank you!

bom porém o valor anual é alto

o app parece ser bom, porém achei muito caro o plano anual. tem um cupom de desconto?
