No informed consent when using the orb
I was pressured by a salesperson to scan my face with the orb and thought it would be just facial recognition. I didn’t know anything about World App or this device. She said it was just "to check if I’m 18+ since they don’t see IDs" but said nothing about the extremely sensitive biometric data that it actually uses. Disgusting.

Disappointing experience - No WLD tokens anymore in Japan
I spent a lot of time and effort to complete the Orb verification in Japan, expecting to receive WLD tokens just like my friends did. However, I found out later that they have changed the policy. Now they only give "Human Benefits" points which cannot be converted to crypto or cash. This is highly misleading for new users who waste their time for nothing. Very disappointed.

Baited
Got promised a coffee and a croissant for downloading the app in a coffee shop, I did, I signed up, then the guy said there was a glitch in the app so nevermind after wasting almost 10 minutes of my time.
The discounts don’t work
I bought the app under the premise that I could access a range of discounts from £10 a month that I could apply on apps like Uber Eats. Every time I try these coupons, there’s the same message “your coupon could not be applied.” I’m still not entirely sure what the function of the app is.

Why change the point system to 10,000 if points expire in a month
I downloaded this app and saw the point system was for 100 and I saw next month I could get 100 points then they change it add a secret update and oops added 10,000 points like who’s gonna wait for months on end to get 10,000 points when you can get 100 for a month come on do better change it back to 100

I’m not sure if they have a gambling license… but there are gambling apps on this platform also even if you win my balance still went down so I suspect fraud and reported it to support… hopefully they fix this and then I will change my rating to five stars.
