Over pricing
I love the app but unfortunately they have raised the prices for book to over $300 even books I’ve purchased that’s ridiculous none of them book are that much not even brand new try to fool someone else with that story of request or amount of books that’s a crock
Quick and Easy
Ordered 4 used books for about $17 and got free shipping since I live in the US. They arrived in 9 days and I received a tracking number the day after I ordered them. The app is also easy to use which is nice.
Bait-and-switch book condition
Will never ever buy anything from them again. Purchased a book that was advertised as being in good or very good condition; the book I received was suitable only for firestarter, with writing, water stains, torn pages, etc. And there's no way to receive a refund through their AI bot, nor do they pay for return shipping, which is more expensive than the book itself.

Don’t bother
If you value the condition of your books, then I recommended using someone else. I ordered five books, only four arrived (the fifth was delivered separately?) of those four books, two were damaged despite being described as in very good condition. Contacted customer service, they sent me out replacements. One was fine, but the other was in an even worse condition than the original I was sent - there were literal food stains on the cover 🤢 Contacted them again, asked for a refund, they completely ignored my request and just said they’d send me out another replacement. I told them not to bother as have since purchased the book elsewhere, they said unfortunately the replacement had already been shipped and they can’t cancel it. Still don’t have my money back and had to throw four books in the bin because even a charity shop wouldn’t take them in that condition. Thanks, WoB, you are a disgrace to literature.

man ive bought 2 books prior to this, one arrived one didnt, and ive just ordered 4 more. they arrived. the oddessey by homer, cloth bound, brand new, recieved it stained, paid their new price. lightlark recieved, purchased as new, with stains on the pages, doggearring and warped pages, £8 may i remind you. and nightbane, like new, recieved it with a decimated spine, residue all over the cover and PUBES, i kid you not goddamn PUBIC HAIR in the pages. ive sold with them before tgings like first editions that have been discontinued and deluxe editions that have been undervalued on their behalf, and also some normal books which i recieve less than 50p for so overall, you know, unbelievably overpriced and stingey and goddamn awful. they also dont make it eady to return.

impossible to use!
a very poorly designed app!!! all i wanted to do was sell my books but i create an account, scan my books, go to sell, it asks me to log in and then says i have the wrong email or password when i don’t! it’s so pointless it’s so much easier to just take the books to a charity shop!

Discouraged before I even started
So the chat is a bot so illusion of customer support, they only actually messaged customer support. Nobody responds. I’ve been locked out of my account and waiting. It says 10 minutes. It’s been over an hour already and I have not heard. Anything about logging back in too much work for so little payout.

Terrible app
Love the store but the app is infuriating to use. Created an account, had to immediately change my password for some reason. It is not obvious at all how to sell your books on the app so had to ask the live chat. Created a basket of books to sell, pressed to save, have to log in again! And then wouldn’t accept either of the two passwords I had used. Tried to go back and my basket had disappeared.

Books list doesn’t load
It would be useful to be able to browse the books available but sadly they don’t load. Selecting a category, expecting to see the books available doesn’t work in the app. You have to search for a specific book to view it.

Terrible conditions
Every book I have ordered no matter what condition I order it in has come in terrible condition. The pages are always yellowed and the covers are peeling. Half the time there are also bent pages. Don’t order from here, it is a scam.
Poor customer service and minimal compensation
The customer service was very poor and I was offered 28 cents to sell expensive new books, including a $125 book and multiple other books that cost over $50.
