Worth every penny. I’ve been reading the Wall Street Journal for decades (since I was in college). This app makes it very convenient to get the news I want, when I want it. The newspaper format and classic layout provides the continuity so many readers have enjoyed throughout their careers.
Best of both
The layout of a print publication is an art form, and informative in its own way. What appears above the fold and how many square inches did the story get are pieces of that enhance the news. The print edition app preserves while adding the convenience of digital access. Love it.

An alternative to the latest terrible WSJ app
I really liked the previous WSJ app but the latest big change killed it. So I tried the print edition - for reading the daily this is as good in most respects and even has some benefits over the old WSJ app.
I like the view of the daily edition - my only real gripes are the low res images, lack of video features, and article sharing, as well as not being able to do the crossword - for those its hold my nose and use the other app.

Experience with WSJ app.
I find it easy to use and dependable but a global search feature for all editions would be a nice feature.
No way to tell which ones I’ve read
Annoying that it automatically updates to the latest edition when I re-open the next day but hadn’t finished the previous day’s edition. Also no way to tell which editions I have read. A simple green check circle and progress bar would allow readers to tell which ones they’ve read and where they left off. This is a 1 day software fix,

Great App!
I have been using the app for several weeks with no problems. It is easy to switch formats as well as to change the size of the content. Pictures, graphs and charts can easily be enlarged to show detail. I never thought this could happen, but the WSJ print edition app is slowly prying my fingers off of holding an actual newspaper in my hands like I have been doing for decades.

Good app
This is a good way to read the WSJ. But it is not as good as some other apps, the app for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in particular is more user friendly and easier to move through.

I have been reading the WSJ for near 50 yrs. The print addition gives me a quick overview of what the editors see as the most important events and issues of the day. It gives me the control I want to dig deeper into the articles that I’m most interested in.
