I don’t have sound on my MacBook Air. Is there an adjustment in the app maybe somewhere?
For every meaningful notifications there are 5+ clickbait tabloid garbage notifs
This app has become absolutely exhausting as you have chased WFSB down the miserable pothole-ridden road of tabloid-quality clickbait. I do not need to know every single time someone dies on some back road that no one drives on. If you want to report traffic, great. If you want to report on road death statistics and advocate for safer driving habits, fantastic. I do not need a push notification when someone in Windham is hurt because a tree fell on them, nor is it ethical to be reporting on it. This is tabloid garbage. I don’t want to turn off notifications because I don’t want to be out of the loop on CT news, and I already disabled WFSB long ago for this exact “reporting”. I always found your notifications to be more helpful and newsworthy, but lately this has completely changed. I am heartbroken that this is what our local news is, and I hope with everything I have that I never have to see a loved one’s final (or near final) moment used for ad revenue like this.
I’m re-upping this rating and downgrading this from 2 stars to one star because I just got a push notification that 2 dogs died in some house fire an hour away from me. Even if it happened in town, why is that newsworthy? How awful for the family that their tragedy just became your clickbait to sell ads. This is contributing to the epidemic of anxiety and overall misery today. I think I’m just deleting this. I have other sources for local news. I don’t see to see this stuff.

No longer working
As of last week you added email address needed to get live news. I have entered it numerous times and still only get the commercial break black screen. I am missing your morning drive ! Please fix the app, so I can watch again.

I always use news 8 but for some reason every time I open the weather tab in my app, the app shuts down.
No weather?
If I try to see the weather, the app crashes for the past few weeks, every time.
No live option
App doesn’t allow live viewing for some reason or freezes. If not it says we’ll be right back and nothing happens.

Weather videos don’t always work
The only trouble I’ve ever had with this app is the weather videos. Sometimes an incorrect video is posted, such as one from a different day, or there is no sound. These issues seem to happen less than they used to, or maybe I’ve just gotten used to it?
However now if I click on the ‘weather’ tab, it closes the app. Not an issues if I click on the main weather headline on the front page, only if I click on the tab on the bottom. Otherwise we like this app and channel, just a few fixes would be great.

app keeps crashing when i try to see the weather after new update

It keeps crashing every time I press the weather category. What’s up with that?
Weather “button” glitch
Have to agree with the recent reviewers. Seems there is a bug after what may have been an update and the app crashes when I hit the weather “button”

What ever you did to update your making me choose breaking news and weather updates has locked the screen on the weather screen. It has no option to continue. So now I can’t even view the news. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling it. It’s still displaying open in the App Store. I think you still have a few more bugs to fix
