I’ve used the web browser wwoof page for several years now and it never fails to get my laptop humming like an airplane preparing for takeoff lol. This in mind, I didn’t expect this app to work nearly as well as it does! It’s perfect! The interface is exactly what I want/need it to be in order to book farms and communicate with my hosts. I’ve never written a review for an app before, but I was so impressed that I had to say something. I’ll be using this app as my main wwoof.org access point from now on. Well done to the developers/ team and thank you for making my wwoof experience even better :) <33

An incredible resource

Very easy to use and the map function is great. When I wwoofed 20 years ago the list of farms was a pdf that was emailed so this is so much better

Best way to gain hands on gardening and farming knowledge

I’ve been WWOOFing on and off over the past years. It’s an awesome way to support local farmers, meet new friends and learn how to grow food!! I’m so glad there’s finally an app. It makes arranging visits, finding farm hosts, and connecting with other WWOOFers much easier. I’m excited to see this organization grow and WWOOFing become even more accessible to people via the App.

Suggestion

Add a search bar to search hosts, names of farms, places, ect. Everything else seems to be right so far.

Hi! Thank you so much for your feedback. You can search and filter for hosts - here’s how: Open the Hosts tab, then tap the menu (☰) in the top-right corner. From there, you’ll see all the filters to help you find specific farms, and at the bottom, you can also keyword search. (Farm names are visible to members only 😊) We really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, and we’ll keep exploring ways to make these search features easier to find and use!

I have been waiting for this app for a few years now and it was such a pleasant surprise to see it launched today, I love WWOOF and the joy and connections it brings to others and I explored the app today and it is exactly what I pictured simple and straightforward which I hope means now more people from all types of lives will try it out so you reading this review hello I hope you WWOOF and I hope it brings more love into your life the way it did for me and so I am excited for the future and the opportunities that will come as I go on more adventures through this app!
