Amazing!

The latest update to the platform have been amazing! Find location and being able to see all my historical reports, deficiencys, other docs, etc. without having to create an inspection. The new report templates have been a game changer too. Any digital platform will take some work up front to get all my data entered but the next time I come back to do an inspection I am so much more efficient!!

Fire Alarm Inspector

There’s no way to make changes to a report without making it permanent why can’t I make something like a save point to go back to in the future when I do Excel reports I can just save a copy and be able to go back to any of my saved files on here no. This app is garbage compared to Excel reports it makes the process of doing big jobs like hospitals 10x harder then it needs to be and wastes time.

Missing devices

Device items missing on report that were on previous reports. Encountered at least 5 reports where I had to re-enter multiple devices. May cause devices to be missed during an inspection if a tech is not familiar with the building.

Lots of techs not happy with latest update

Clearly nobody ran the latest updates past people who actually use the app everyday in the field. The ridiculousness now to just view historical reports is annoying. Now you have to create a dummy inspection just to get to the historical reports. Bring back the more efficient way of doing it.

Great platform, good app

This is a great program for doing inspections. Everything is clear and easy to follow. I really wish it had the ability to rotate on my screen on the iPad.

Bad

Doesn’t work well with networks. Failed devices and deficiencies don’t get moved into deficiencies list automatically, must be manually inputted. Devices taken off of panel program are listed as “fire devices” Initially which is useless. If IOS update happens you potentially lose all inspection information. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Wasn’t able to give it 0 stars.

App was obviously developed by people with no understanding of what is required or the proper terminology that needs to be used for inspections.

Lead Installer

Very helpful when not around the site for accessing system information.

The worst app ever

This app is not user friendly if you have to add more than 10 devices sit back and relax it’s gonna take all day. There are better ways to accomplish data hoarding. I would rate this at 0 stars.

Suggestion

It would be nice to have a comment section for the kitchen hood inspection. The note I feel sometimes get overlooked.

Xaap issues

The app is good but has some flaws still. Keeps freezing and no more then one person can operate the app. Supposed to be for multiple people to use at once. Needs fixing

Way too time consuming.

The amount of questions that need to be answered is asinine. Not at all user friendly. A quick job can easily turn into a half hour. Not looking forward to having to use this awful app on large jobs.

A GAME CHANGER!!!

Hello! Another satisfied user of this application. It's just getting better and better as improvements are being integrated to electronic reporting. It is definitely night and day from hand, pen and paper to simply tapping of fingers. One thing I've mentioned repeatedly to Xaap's Support Group though is to also integrate the "photo feature" on "passed and cannot inspect" points. As to sometimes a point might have passed but there is a suggestion or a concern, or a point can't be inspected and need to show a visual as to why... You gotta admit Xaap, it's your fault for integrating the photo feature to failed points. Now you gotta give it to us all the way. I'm confident that you won't leave us hanging. Looking forward to more positive things in the future. Come on now!!!

Service technician

Terrible app, very difficult to use and very time consuming. Horrible!

Terrible

Terrible app. Takes time away from doing the actual job. Nothing but headaches and constantly need to revise reports which were imported incorrectly. Need to stop trying to reinvent the wheel and stick to what has worked for years. This is what happens when you have people design something to “help” field personnel when the developers haven’t ever stepped foot on a job site. Would give it zero stars if I could.

Kitchen hood inspections

The app needs to be reworked in this section. There are too many repeated questions throughout. Just copying the paper inspection form doesn’t do the app justice. I hope there is a update to this section on its way. Also, the way the completed form the is emailed needs to be attached as a pdf, instead of having to download the file in another step. We’re trying to streamline this process, not make it longer. Other manufacturers need to be included in the list.

Still needs modifications to fire pump testing questions

Best App for many reasons

They have been so responsive to any changes needed. The app does all we want and is customizable to the report needed!

Xaap

Non essential questions all over the report. Auto answer needs to be a thing. Why am I over and and over NA button. If it does apply why do I have to answer it always. 54 questions on a dry system please. And the backflow part is a total disaster. And point models and make sections don’t populate. Disaster. All previous answer need to automatically populate the answer from the last inspection with the ability to change the answer. Example. Are there cold weather valves in the system 99.99999 percent of the customers don’t have one. So why do I even entertain the question every quarter at nausea. There’s like multiple questions time after time N/A. Sounds petty. Some places have 200/300 devices. It becomes a serious hassle. Simple programming can be done to fix this stuff but yet it is very in friendly of a program. My report went from 4 pages to 16 pages. How is this customer friendly after the 5th page most people glaze over in boredom. The reports need to be direct and relevant. We don’t need most of what they are trying to push down our throats
