アプリの名前がいかにもでダウンロードするのに躊躇した。インストールして、ホーム画面に表示されるときは「Xiaomi Home」と出たので、少し安心した。扇風機のモード切り替えがアプリからしかできないから、個人的には、夏はこのアプリが必須です。
使えなくなった。
中国国外では使用できないとの表示が出てアプリが使えなくなった。iPadでモニターしたくて購入したが、それが出来ない。

When I try to add my device, the app asks me to update it. However, my app is already up to date, and I still can’t add my device. This is causing us a problem because the device language is only in Chinese. The app is the only way to change the settings, but it is not allowing me to add the device. Could you please help us resolve this issue? Three star only for device not to add with app otherwise 5 star

Basic, slow, frustrating
Sadly lacking easy controls, setting up the app is tedious with real name, nickname, account name.
Good quality hardware let down by poorly written software, if you add cameras to the app and then decide to set up on another device, iPhone or iPad etc it doesn’t transfer your info so you have to add all your devices all over again so if you are not at each location it impossible, integration with Google is very poor, you can’t add it to automations and streaming to your tv is flaky, extremely slow and cuts out all the time and it seems judging by the feedback Xiaomi don’t care, are you listening Xiaomi?
Another problem with the Mac version is it randomly rotates the screen 90 degrees and no way to stop it doing it or to correct it, Xiaomi obviously don’t care or they would fix this simple rotation issue. They also don’t allow feedback through the apple system and the website is difficult as no English language.

It works
So I paired my robot vacuum and it works I like it, but I do think that the robot vacuum should learn from its mistakes cause if there is a cleaning map it should know where walls are and should avoid
Request for automated map changes for vacuum robots
It currently needs 4 clicks to change a map of the vacuum robot and there is wait time of 2-5 secs for loading the map. For a duplex house, switching maps on a daily basis needs to be simple one click solution. If the map change operations are added under manual controls, we can run an automation too. Request you please look into this feature.

Cannot create account.
Unable to create an account to sign in because this app uses that stupid picture “captcha” system, which, no matter how many times I try, simply DOES NOT WORK. Goodbye Xiaomi. I’d like to say it was fun while it lasted, but it never even began. Useless.
Stupid carpet paths, NO SUPPORT
My ROBOROCK vacuum does a good job cleaning the carpet. But it starts in any room closest to the dock and ends furthest from the dock. Then it goes back to the dock, diagonally, right through the nice pattern that it just left, making for an ugly result.
My recommendation is to start at the FAR end of the room, and work back toward the beginning. This will leave a nice, even pattern, and even save battery power.
I’ve tried to contact the manufacturer through the app, through email, through trouble, tickets, and NEVER gotten any response. is there ANY way to get in touch and provide feedback? Their “support” web page is all Chinese and the iPad translator will not even translate a single word. FAIL.

alarm notifications no longer play any sound
Since the recent iOS update, Mi Home alarm notifications no longer play any sound — only a silent banner appears. All iOS notification settings are correctly enabled. The issue persists after reinstalling the app and testing on multiple iPhones.
This appears to be caused by Apple’s notification sound changes in iOS 17/18. Please fix this as it affects alarm functionality.
