Shouldn’t have to watch an ad every time I want to turn my lights on/off. I never write reviews but this is so ridiculous. I already paid for the lights so you got my money. Want to put ads at the top of the screen? Fine. But making me wait several seconds to turn my lights on/off because I have to watch an advertisement first is silly greedy.

There doesn’t appear to be any setting to have multicolored static lights come on with a timer. In order to do anything other than one color you have to create a scene. When you create a scene, there are only options for dynamic effects and not for static or solid. Very irritating.
This app has never needed you to make an account or keep you connected to Internet to use their product in the last three years I've used them. All of a sudden they require you to make an account now and stay logged in whenever you use their product.
I have string lights and I’m trying to login to control them but the login button does not work. I can’t use the product I just bought from you guys.
Good lights, Very poor app obviously designed overseas by a non-english app developer instructions very confusing and don’t make sense
I really love the lights. We had to get a new set and with that a new setup. I HATE the new update. Hard to figure out any light settings unless you want it on 1 color. The older app was so much more user friendly. Please change it back!!
Terrible app shady company. Literally the worst smart home product I have ever purchased. After over a year of waiting for fixes finally thew their lamp in the trash today. Avoid XMCosy anyway you can.
Customized Section isn’t working no updates since I bought the lights 4 years ago for Static, Festival, or Marquee.
Not sure how others aren’t having luck with this. Grateful I was able to save my password to the iCloud Keychain for easy log in! Keep up the great work!
The product exhibits exceptional quality, however, the app interface is substandard, lacking user-friendliness, making the establishment of a routine arduous and ineffective.
Of all of the dozens of apps that I have installed over the years, this app is the worst. It is the least stable of any application that I have. It has required dozens of resets. Because it constantly goes off-line and then it sometimes is virtually impossible to reset just because the reset procedure must be repeated so many times and that’s only if you’re fortunate enough to find out how to begin the process.

Schedules do not work, plan does not work. The timer does work. Unfortunately, like many users, lights frequently disconnect and I end up having to manually turn lights on and off through the switch. The app is not serving its purpose.
The ‘Scenes’ section is supposed to allow users to predetermine settings based on parameters. For example, when the sun sets - lets are supposed to turn on. It should know what time the sun sets based on my location that is added in the app, however, the scene does not trigger at that time, the go on much earlier. Also, NOTHING works unless my phone is connected to my wifi. When I am away from home the lights do not go on or they do not turn off. It’s really a terrible app.

They keep adding new “features” that nobody wants while still never fixing the most basic connection bugs. They are far more worried about forcing new products on you than actually making the app work
Must be connected to same network to connect to lights via app where before you could control them at any time.
I loved these until the app quit working. I’ve disconnected the lights, deleted the app, restarted everything and it still doesn’t work. I’m going to get different lights. Hopefully they will last longer than these.
Forget this app. Try something else. Lights will not connect to my wifi. I had another XMCosy light set for two years that worked fine. They must have messed with the app with the “+” because the new set won't connect. They even sent a new controler and it won't connect. Forget this light set and try something else.

Unskipable full page Black Friday ad in an app that barely works to start with is insane. So regret buying an XMcosy lamp
Customer service when I bought the lights was outstanding; mine didn’t work and they sent me a new one and let me keep the old one in case I figured it out.. the app however USED TO work great and let me fully customize settings and patterns but now it won’t let me program more than one color or edit an existing pattern anymore. I have several patterned lights throughout my house and just love watching the colors change, so it’s annoying that the app won’t let me do that anymore bc you cannot do it from the buttons on the lamp.

The lights are great…WHEN they work. Frequent disconnect issues make using the app frustrating. Then, it’s not very intuitive if you want to do anything remotely custom or advanced. We expected to be able to create different scenes with various color combinations to run with a single click. Turns out that’s just not possible. A huge design flaw!
