Constantly drops connection

This app used to be great now it only works 5mins at a time before dropping its connection.

Don’t Buy - Get LiveView instead

There are 2 things that annoy me about this app.

The first is that over a busy network this app is unable to connect with the desktop application to initiate screen mirroring. In most work situations, wifi networks are busy places, so for this basic use case to ignored is highly problematic. It also renders the application is unusable.

The most likely remedy for this is to be able to specify the IP and Port of the computer you want to connect to. This is faster than simply waiting for the iOS app to poll the desktop app in the hope of making a connection. This feature does not exist.

Secondly, the original application cost a fair chunk of change. To then charge for the mirroring app for your phone was rather annoying.

As an alternative, I have used LiveView for years, it has IP and Port specification and works much better over busy wife networks. It is also more expensive but easily worth it. As a professional designer tools like these are invaluable, but they also need to be robust and work in ‘real world’ situations. This application does not.

Amazing

Connecting xScope Mirror to xScope on my Mac was easy and worked flawlessly. The refresh rate of a displayed window on xScope Mirror is amazing considering what it’s doing.

Even being a software developer and understanding what’s going on, it still truly seems magical!
