It was my first ride. I ordered a ride. The driver went in other direction, to make it worst, they charged me before the ride.
Best App Ever
I reach safe and fast with XXride. They charge the cheapest fares in the market. I booked a taxi today and get an immediate message from the driver on the app to confirm my pickup location and timing. The driver was very friendly and he checked the fastest way on google map to avoid the traffic. I loved the apple pay option which is easier and more secure . Highly recommended!

Failure
Can’t even create an account. States “something went wrong”. Total waste of time even downloading this. Can’t be confident on the service which transports you or your family, which releases software on the AppStore in this state, (even if later fixed).

We are tourists here in Dubai and was recommended the app by one of the Drivers who was standing outside the mall. My husband and I are old, we need assistance to move around. We contacted XXRIDE customer service based on the advice of the driver and they were kind enough to inform the driver to be at our disposal throughout the day to assist us. The driver was helpful and kind enough to assist us in getting around town.

I sent a message to their customer service (whatsapp) on a Saturday they replied by Monday. If you will encounter any problems don’t expect them to assist you immediately

Scam (Hidden charges)
The rides show about 10 AED cheaper than UBER and Careem, however once you book, there is a 16 AED hidden charge as “base fare” that they only disclose in your final invoice . So any amount they show, it is not accurate! I would rather use UBER at least they are upfront and don’t resort to useless scams. The wait time was 2 AED, and if the below irrelevant excuse was accurate, the base fare would be called wait time and there will not be an extra section called wait time, hence the below excuse is invalid and shows how hard they are trying to scam you.

Good only for luxurious people
I was charged 7aed because the driver stops in a traffic light and waited for 2 mins. If you are in a city like Dubai nowadays with the traffic jams increasing so not sure if this is the app for you unless you are a luxurious person who can wait in the luxurious car (with was nice for me) and pay for it.

Destroy careem and uber
Prices are better than careem and uber, drivers prefer them than careem or uber. Finally a third competitor to remove careems monopoly from the market.

They charge you the ride fees and then they tell you no car available. Rates are not better than Hala Taxi
