I hate the constant updates of what emails I’m receiving. Tried everything to turn it off and still getting them. Not a fan

App never works. It pops up, goes away and then nothing happens at all. So damn annoying
What’s going on
I’ve been using it for so many years, and the app just doesn’t work properly at all. I cannot reply to the emails using the chain, new emails are not updating in inbox. Yahoo do something urgent!
Personal Mail Folders inaccessible

The latest update has now fixed my main issue with personal folders no longer being displayed.
You can now see and view their contents when you select the more options (burger menu), and they’re sensibly displayed under the InBox as you would expect.
Mail app is now useable again.
This is a reply to my previous review, replying to Yahoo!s response to that.
So no your response does not help as you have failed to understand my issue.
I was not talking about the spam, sent folders. I can see where they are perfectly fine.
I’m talking about mail folders that I have personally created to organise my emails. Which I have about 100 of. They are folders for the different companies I am using say Amazon or eBay. I have setup mail rules that detect when I receive an email from say Amazon which moves that email out of my Inbox and into a specific folder. Making it easier for me to focus on the emails I want to deal with first.
Those folders ARE NO LONGER displayed or accessible in this poorly designed and thought out update. I can only access them via the web version. I can no longer do this via my phone.
I have now switched email app providers so I can access them again. I have abandoned using this Yahoo mail app until you see sense and redesign this pile of unusable trash.
It’s somewhat ironic that your online support pages still refer to the older usable design. Even on this App Store the app images are the older UX, not the new one so someone at Yahoo! thinks this new UI is unfit for purpose.
