Lousy

Really not a functional app. It never works and I’m wondering why I even got these locks to begin with now. Should’ve went with another vendor if this was the accompanying app

Useless app and expensive non functioning lock

Having bought a Yale IM1 compatible lock 5 years ago, the lock and the app have never worked together and Yale insist on not letting me use the US app that would actually work so I can’t get any HomeKit functionality. Will never buy one of their products again.

Terrible

Almost never works. Have to force kill it multiple times before it can read the lock, sometimes even then it doesn’t load. Hasn’t worked with HomeKit in a year or more. Would not buy again.

Having issue?

if you can’t add people or codes, take yourself off of your local Wi-Fi. This app works a lot better when it’s not connected to the local network.

Unbelievable

So apparently the Yale app will automatically create “Homes” based on what is in HomeKit and if you delete them it will delete your entire setup from HomeKit with ambiguous warning…The kicker is I didn’t have any Yale products at the home I deleted from the Yale app and spent hours trying to get every smart product setup in my home on HomeKit again.

Don’t understand why Yale interacts with HomeKit that way as there is absolutely no reason for it and why isn’t there a crystal clear warning that by deleting a home from the Yale app will completely delete the entire Home from HomeKit…Infuriating to say the least.

Garbage.

Great hardware, horrible software. Error after error…what a waste of money.

Don’t bother

Their slogan should be “Kinda Werks Sometimes”.

TERRIBLE

Bad product all around. Doesn’t connect and is extremely difficult to add and delete passcodes bc it’s SO SLOW!!!!

Just garbage

This app has sucked for years, making what could be great hardware near useless. I’m surprised Apple still puts this company’s product on their shelves.

I couldn’t even add a lock!

I can’t even add my Yale lock to anything company, nest, Yale, smart home, smart home AT&T, google?
Qrf code brings me to a website for mathematics!

Deserves 0 stars.

Mostly crashes immediately upon open. When it does stay open, crashes immediate when trying to make changes.

FIX IT.

This app is total trash and has to be quit and reopen about a dozen times in order to add or delete someone’s pin. There’s constant errors. The lock is great quality but this isn’t worth the money or hassle when the app that controls it doesn’t work 98% of the time.

Application crashes upon opening

The application can’t open anymore. It crashes when I open it.
What’s the purpose of having this lock??
Is someone bringing forth a lawsuit? We’re all left with locks that don’t work!!

Crashes on iOS 17.5.1

There doesn’t seem to be a way to report app bugs through the available links, so I thought this would be one way as I’ve done it with a Honeywell app and they took notice and fixed the issue.

In this case, I start the app and it just crashes immediately. Every time.

Please fix this and I’ll give a better review/rating!

Thanks!

Update Made Everything stop working

Ever since the last update I can’t add access codes, remove, view history, and it even fails to connect most times. This Is Rediculous!

Buggy app

Keeps crashing on my iPhone. Have deleted and reinstalled multiple times.

Horrible App

I can’t even open the app it just crashed every time. Restarted my phone and still no go. Can’t reconnect my Yale lock because of it. This company is garbage!

Still unable to update firmware

After years you still can’t even do something as simple and necessary as updating the lock firmware with this app.

Broken again

Updated to iOS 17.2.1 and now can’t bring up the PIN codes. I just don’t get it!
