It as $10 for not even 1/6 of a single book. Absolute scam. Horrible even for these types of apps.
Not credited
I have made repeated purchases yet not credited. 2 -9.99 purchases after thinking the first wasn’t completed. I was charged for both but nothing was credited to my account. BEWARE
Great storylines. Too expensive.
The teasers are great and get you hooked, but the cost for coins to purchase future chapters is way too expensive and it locks you into a subscription. Subscriptions are supposed to save you money. This is a money trap.

Having fun reading books for free: just play ads that lead you to other free books. When they lock for a day move to different ap and have more fun.
Subscription
Bought a subscription and canceled it soon after (so I wouldn’t forget about the recurring charge), but once I cancelled it revoked the coins I had paid for and was still charged…

Says free, it’s not, very expensive and just not worth it. Delete app immediately.

Fake reviews?
Based off of my own experience and reading reviews, I’m noticing the 5 star reviews are a mix of the same phrases over and over or actually negative reviews with a 5-star rating. The advertised story doesn’t go past what was featured in the ads without paying a lot!

Look for another site to read stories. Yes Tory takes your money and then your coins disappear!! Terrible customer service! Run away from Yestory!!!

I love the different stories, the checklist to get points, and the ads to be able to read. I see no problems
Another scammy overpriced app
Each chapter costs about $1-2 to read, they won’t let you skip ahead to the end or see if the book is completed and daily rewards are capped at 20-35 per day when your average chapter is about 199 coins each ($9.99 for 1450 coins) with even “shorts” averaging 35 chapters. They also won’t accept prepaid debit cards, which makes me think the complaints about overcharging and charging after cancellations are probably accurate.

Save time and money, move on and don’t buy. Poor grammar, spelling errors, disconnected story where information changed like the “author” forgot what they said previously.
Don’t waste your time
This app is such a hoax. The only way it lets you go past the chapter you read on the initial advertisement is if you purchase point. There is no option to watch ads or anything that would let you move forward. They just want you to buy from them. Such a disappointment because I was really wanting to finish the storyline, but you can take this happen and shove it.
