Always chasing a subscription
Cameras were ok now constantly being logged out with attempts to get you clock on subscription links, my YI Cameras will be going int he bin soon!

don’t buy. I have a WIFI Camera. They inundate it with ads and then force you into a subscription.
Disgusting trash
It used to be a good camera, I used it to keep my eyes on my place while travelling or more often on my dog while I was out. But now they force you to sign into a subscription, they said it was free for 3 days at least and I signed so I could use it for free temporarily but right on the next screen they asked me to subscribe for real this time! And it charged me right a way, event I didn’t want it! And after all those stupid things, I could not connect the camera I have for years. The camera basically doesn’t work anymore!
And the real joke: When I click on the support button they have available inside the app, it attempts to open my BUS APP! Yeah, for some reason support needs to know the track I take to work so they can properly help me. It’s disgusting to have cameras I had to pay and I cannot use it properly because a company just gave up everything and now they are only trying to use abusive and probably illegal ways to take money from you…

I can’t even get the app to stay open. They forced me into a 4.99 per week subscription during setup before showing anything and I can’t even open the app. Zero or negative stars would be the right rating on 5
Forced payment for app trial
I tried to sign up for a trial and after 3 attempts it actually charged me for the free trial and then the app would close every time I tried to log in.
Also despite this being a + version of the app that name is not reflected on the iPhone screen once it’s installed

This used to be easy to use and did not require a subscription. Now it is not easy and essentially requires a subscription

Greedy App
With every update and every year, this app gets worse. They keep increasing their prices. Now, you have to watch ADs as if we don’t see enough daily. Ads and home security cameras should not be mixed. You can’t wait over a minute to check out what the alert is when you have to watch an Ad. I foresee this being a lawsuit in the future.

Disgusting app
Totally unusable... Constant interruption with ad videos and ad free ads... This app is worthless... Why is it even made available on Apple?
Total bait and switch trash app
When this app and hardware was first released, it was pretty good. Then they loaded it up with advertisement as to where it’s totally useless to me. This is a total bait and switch where they totally disrespect us the purchaser of their hardware and changed their free plan to a waste of time plan. Thanks for nothing YI Home.

We have been using cameras for over 6 years. It was so fantastic that we have 6 cameras. Now the app is forcing to buy their cloud service. I paid for it one year and there was no value to it since I have memory cards on my cameras. Now it makes me watch long ads and they make it very difficult to watch live feeds or even access my memory cards. It constantly makes user go back to watch more ads and always asking for me to buy their cloud service. I Don’t Want Your Cloud Service. Give me back my access to my cameras and memory cards that I paid for.

No stars would be more appropriate
I purchased this camera before the company was sold or whatever happened where now I’m being asked to purchase a subscription to access the same features that came with the camera when I bought it. With no option for me to run this camera locally. This company is deceptive and abuses their customers I will never purchase another product from this company. Now if something is happening and I want to check my camera I have to sit through multiple ads. It’s disgusting I hope they get sued.

This app sucks now that I can’t access live streaming and I paid for it!!
Every update is worst
Used to be able to control settings and get alerted when there was movement, now you have to pay for that.
