This app blows
The app cannot hear me play notes properly I spend most of my time repeating simple songs just to get it to register my sound. The songs are incredibly long and repetitive, they sound terrible out loud and you can’t play with headphones because it’s not conducive with the app. So mad I spent money on this

Good Enough
It’s alright to be honest I am a beginner and I’m just starting, on top of that I am in my mid thirties; so I’m trying to do my best.

Bad tuner
I was tuning my C string and it told me to go up and I kept on going up told me to go higher and higher and then and I kept on telling me to go higher so a broke I don’t trust this app at all this happened twice already with the same string. I’m using good guitar strings and a nice acoustic guitar.

I think the price is fair, given how much it costs to have lessons. And it’s fun.
Full play through scoring
I would prefer if your score for a song could be based on a full play through rather than a sum of the best section scores from any play through. I can play badly through most of a song but do better on a certain section than before and it will increase my highest score. This doesn’t seem right and makes it harder and harder to actually beat your best score (which you have never actually achieved in one run).

Disappointing and Not Worth the Money
This app sometimes seems to lose its ability to hear properly and fails to recognize the correct chords and notes, which gets really frustrating. I don’t recommend purchasing it. I regret buying it.

Best singing app!!
I've only been using it for a week, but so far I love it. I feel like I'm really learning because they start with the basics and take it slowly. And I love that when you learn a new song, you can slow down the lyrics to get them down rather than struggling to keep up with the original. Really great app!!

Honestly, Yousician was a huge disappointment. The app feels way too expensive for what you actually get, and after a while it just becomes repetitive and frustrating. A lot of the lessons feel like they’re designed to keep you using the app rather than actually helping you improve. The constant reminders and upselling are also annoying. I expected a much better learning experience for the price. Definitely not worth it.

No fun songs to play anymore
I get that sometimes music licensing requires you to pull the songs, but try a little harder at least. Metallica, nirvana, arctic monkeys, hell even the wellerman, all gone. No warning at all, and they get replaced by obscure songs. We don’t need a random French song, we want recognizable songs that will help us and give us motivation to play.
