the app is stupid

it cant recognise that im playing the correct strings and frets

App ok but tricks you into a £90 fee

I didn’t cancel this 24 hours before the weeks trial was over. It also said that we would be notified about a subscription start and we weren’t. This is a trick to make you pay big bucks for an ok app.

Awesome

Good

Good

Good for easy learning

You have to pay

There was no warning about paying money. It doesn’t do it automatically but every time I find an app that I think is totally free this happens it teaches me how to tune my strings and they’re not even really tuned that well. I can’t really judge the whole thing because I can’t do it. When will somebody make a app for guitarists that is free

It’s good but I don’t have money

I love learning to play the bass guitar here but I’m only 13 and I use only money.. I really don’t have a credit card yet so I might gotta stop using this. I loved it though

👍

Good app. My only complaint is it taught me the stuff I already know (not like that’s a bad thing) and then demanded a subscription. Apart from that seems pretty good

I like it so far

It’s really good I know nothing about guitar and it helped my learn frets I’m really happy

Beware, the subscription

Wanna do a trial membership? Great! Forget? And it’s a $179 charge to your account. Beware if you need groceries.

cant listen to my guitar

I like the app overall, but when im playing my electric guitar it doesn’t listen(this only happens with songs with chords), it keeps getting most of it wrong even though im playing them right! Im not sure if its because im not plugged in but he only way it will get most of them right is sitting really close to my device and muting the song which somehow works. Also it has lyrics and since i sing it should be able to hear the guitar as im singing even though im plugged in. I have some song recommendations: 1 Die with a smile lady gaga + bruno mars(with the capo or bar chords) 2 Notion the rare occasion (bar chords or without bar chords) 3 toxic boywithuke.

Premium

I hate how with every single app, you have to pay a fee to actually get good ad whatever the app is supposed to help you with.

You need a subscription

It was solid the first week, taught me some new things, but you can’t get past beginner level without a SUBSCRIPTION

Very good

It’s just very great. The best app. Try it

EXTREMELY dishonest pricing

I’m not one to write a bad review and indeed, the app itself was enjoyable. When I signed up I had chosen a 7 day free trial to see if this app would be a good fit for me. On the same page they asked to pick a plan for further use after the trial, and each plan was shown as how much a monthly payment would cost. What wasn’t shown is that they take the money all at once. I was charged $200 unexpectedly and when I went to their customer support to try and refund as I can only afford a smaller monthly payment, they waive responsibility. I’m now having to appeal to Apple to get my money back in hopes that they see the dishonest pricing and refund me.

It’s starts easy and then into the sharks you go.

I have several issues with this app. Firstly, unless you have headphone with a microphone built it that application will not detect the sound correctly.
Secondly, it gives you the option to practice a song are your own pace but it won’t record your time practiced unless you’re actually following along with the song.
Thirdly, if you complete a song, for whatever reason it begins crediting you less time every time you play or practice previously completed times.
Fourthly, this app begins easy and teaches you some basic at first but as you move on you’ll start having to practice songs with chords or other things you weren’t taught. Therefore having to slow down even more. And there aren’t lessons for the items that are in certain songs but not taught. Hope it makes sense.

Hard to cancel

Can’t cancel in the app or App Store. Give you several screens trying to convince you not to cancel before you can cancel. Irritating.

Great app, too expensive

This app is genuinely incredible, and I appreciate it so much as it tracks your vocals and teaches you step by step. However, once you get out of the beginner stage (which is like 6 assessments), you have to play like 140 dollars A YEAR to get the same level of play. Otherwise, you just get really short and quick videos at the beginning of a few other lessons. I would use this app with a MILLION ads if you could make a free option!

This sucks for beginners

I was trying to tune my guitar and then it wouldn’t track the strings and I had almost the the same ones on screen and it snapped my strings when I trie d to tune them waste of time and money for anyone who wants to get this app also it was my grandpas guitar and I had the same strings and it is the only thing I have that reminds me of him

Learning fast, but there are bugs

I’ve learned so much in a week however they really need to work on the microphone input recognition. I’ve noticed that I’ve played correct notes and then it is not correctly. Picked up unless I lower the volume of the music on my phone.

Amazing music

I love this app and the songs you play to are amazing
