Super good but also sad cuz the things I want aren’t so good
Game changer
This app is a godsend. As ostentatious we eat pretty healthy, but like most people enjoy condiments and other processed food. This is great way of ensuring that you are picking the healthiest out of a mindful of info. Also our son is autistic & struggles with food. This is helping him understand what is good or bad for him, and why. He has already agreed to swap his much loved crisps for healthier ones.

Could be better
Doesn’t work offline or if signal well which occurs often in supermarkets. The search function freezes, can’t access a Home Screen to search. Frustrating app. Many products are repeated with variable results.
Life game changer
For a while, I was struggling keeping products that were good or not and now with the app I can see in a few seconds if they’re good or not, and now from having bad acne to good skin is amazing
Senseless Ratings for Food Products!
This app rates products containing cane sugar, natural flavour, seed oils a much higher rating than those that dont! Its a well known fact that none of these ingredients are highest measures of evaluating a product and looking at the fabricated numbers on the nutritional facts table is not the only way! Just like Dr Mark Hyman said - America has lost the plot - this app never understood it! Such baseless ratings & completely misleading! Pls dont trust this app to make food choices… delete immediately!

Best app for food and cosmetics
This app has helped out heaps in deciding what foods and cosmetics are safe to eat/use. Seeing what harmful chemicals have been added makes for an informed decision.

I was excited to try this app to improve my grocery shopping choices but it seems unnecessarily harsh. There are some foods that have strong nutrient profiles I purchase but Yuka will look past that and give a food a zero if, for example, it feels it has too high of a sodium level. I get the sodium concern but these foods deserve some credit for delivering nutrients. I’ll find a more balanced app.

Great, but needs some updates!
I love this app for finding toxins in food and beauty products. It makes it so much simpler! But it really needs an update on nutrition. Anything with saturated fat and salt is considered bad, which means that good natural foods like butter are rated lower than some highly processed and less healthy items.

I tried to scan a protein shake just for it to tell me "Yukon does not scan products that are high in protein." As if people aren't using this to be healthier..? Protein is an essential part to human health so why would it not work for protein products..?
