My Every Morning Show
I watch/ listen to Volle Kanne every morning as I get ready for my day. It is very informative, and, as an American, it gives me insights into current events and trends in Germany. As a former German teacher who has been retired for 15 years now, it also is an exercise in listening ( ein Hörverständnis) to modern spoken German using current vocabulary and idioms ( with a surprising amount of American English vocabulary and idioms thrown in!! ). It keeps my “ German ears” in tune!
I especially enjoy Anja Koenzen’s gardening segments. I have learned a lot from and have been inspired by her expert advise. I wish there were subtitles when she names various plant species so I could find their equivalents here.
I also enjoy all of the cooking segments with Mario Kotaska, Cynthia Barcomi, Armin Rossmeyer and all the others. They too have inspired me and they make me hungry! The cooks are also a lot of fun!
The segments with Dr. Christoph Specht are very informative and give me the German/ European views on medicine.
“Besserwisser” is another great segment and I enjoy trying to guess the correct answer.
I enjoy the travel segments, especially those within Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
But, of course, the show just wouldn’t be the same without the fabulous hosts Florian and Nadine and also Andrea and Carsten

ZDF Android lässt zu wünschen übrig
Wohingegen die ARD Mediathek auf Android relativ störungsfrei läuft, lässt die ZDF Android App wirklich viel zu wünschen übrig!
Nicht nur ist sie sehr langsam trotz Glasfaserkabel und stürzt regelmäßig ab, sondern sie unterbricht Sendungen im Replay mehrmals während einer Folge mit dem Kommentar „da ist leider etwas schief gegangen.“
Da es Bindge Watching wirklich keine Sünde mehr, sondern einfach nicht möglich!
Übrigens: auf iOS auf dem iPad oder dem iPhone, läuft alles wunderbar…

Die Mediathek ist toll.
Seit 1972 lebe ich in den Vereinigten Staaten, und bin äußerst dankbar, dass ich weiterhin einen engen Kontakt zu meiner Familie und auch zur Kultur habe. Das verdanke ich zum Teil der ZDFmediathek. Ganz herzlichen Dank.
Schwierig neue Shows zu finden
Seit dem Update sieht der App attraktiver aus . Aber leider ist er jetzt auch so unübersichtlich wie der ARD App. Wenn man nicht geziehlt nach einer Serie sucht sieht man Nix , keine „vorab oder neu „ Kolumne mehr und windig der Krimi der Woche ?

Ständiger stop
Leider ist es fast unmöglich auch nur eine Sendung zu streamen, ohne dass es in mitten der Sendung stoppt oder noch besser: kurz vor Auflösung eines Krimis.

Disappointed
I can no longer watch ZDF on my iPad because my iPad doesn't support the latest operating system. I wish I could still use the earlier version, but ZDF doesn’t offer that option. I am sure I’m not the only loyal viewer in this situation. Yes, very disappointed…
Funktionen
Ich lebe im Ausland und wünschte mir das Titel die ich nicht sehen kann so gekennzeichnet wären. Außerdem habe ich Probleme mit meiner merkliste. Sachen die ich lösche sind nicht gelöscht. Und Sendungen werden zum Anfang gesetzt wenn ich sie schon halb gesehen habe. Aber ich bin super dankbar dass ich überhaupt Sendungen aus meiner Heimat sehen kann. Vorallem einige alte.

Switch to Streaming Format Redesign Fiasco
What used to be one of my favorite apps has become an utterly underwhelming experience. Poor reliability, blocking and unfriendly content structure require urgent attention.
Nur noch Scheiss
Viele Sendungen sind auf einmal nur noch in deutsch sprachigen Ländern anzusehen 🤬 ex. Soko Wien, Soko Kitzbühl. Somit gehe dann ich eben auf YouTube. Nur noch dämliche Kinder Sendungen und Wiederholungen. Zum Kotzen!

Katastrophe
Seit die neue App verfügbar ist, funktioniert nichts mehr. Keine Offline Inhalte, kein Download, nichts. Schade, war mal eine tolle Angelegenheit, jetzt leider nur noch peinlich!
Still using iOS 15
My old iPhone is still on iOS 15. And I don’t get the point of switching the framework of this app to minimum of iOS 16. Please stick to the order version so that it can be most accessible.
