Impossible to remove searches
I looked at a random job search and now this stupid app keeps recommending jobs in that field. It is impossible to remove it.

Unzip recruiter!
“Another soulless front that condones public exploitation over some extra supplemental income”. Went to their website in hopes to have a better outcome that I’ve been having at “greedindeed” with all of their fake job post, as if they had no power or control over them, on their own site. I applied to what seemed to be a reasonable paying job post that directed me to their fake website & made me fill out my basic information like email and phone number. Only to then be Harassed by a plethora of scam calls & emails the next day. People do not use a website or app that claims to not have any control on their own “web engines”, of unfairly evil data stealing scammers, that later on sell this information to data brokers. Taking advantage of people that desperately try to find a way to make a HONEST living. If they truly don’t have any control over this, or the power to help people tha really need it then they do not deserve for their sites to exist.

Good-ish app
This app is basic. It does what it’s supposed to do, help find current job opportunities. However, I’m unable to find any place to filter “for you” jobs on the homepage. I can’t remove incomplete applications to discard them. I can’t swipe, remove or select which jobs I’m not interested in so they will stop showing them to me. I searched for piercing jobs and it showed me a cath lab tech. Not the same.

ZipRecruiter needs to do more to protect candidates from being ignored by employers and recruiters.
If a job is posted on the platform, candidates should be able to reasonably assume that the employer is actually looking to fill that position. Applicants shouldn’t spend time submitting applications only to receive absolutely no acknowledgment or communication.
ZipRecruiter should hold employers and recruiters to a much higher standard. At the very least, employers should be encouraged — or required where appropriate — to acknowledge applications and close the loop when candidates are no longer being considered.
Job seekers put real time and effort into these applications. They deserve basic professional courtesy in return.

Not up to standard
I am sorry to have to do this but within a day or so of using this app, I am experiencing more trouble than expected. I have worked with other apps before and this is beyond my understanding why. I applied for a position this morning that basically doesn't show up in the app, and their employment advisor asked me to click on a link to update my availability with that particular position, but the hyperlink sent me to 4 other "search engines" instead. So I'm deleting it. It screams scam.

So I get feedback on a job, they need more info and I give it to them. Turns out the job is a scam. ZipRecruiter ought to do better at screening.

ZipRecruiter is a very easy app to cater to your needs whether you’re looking to recruit or find a new job/career. Easy to use on mobile.
All the jobs seem to be scams or fake
I was really surprised that I was getting that many responses from my recent applications even though I have not worked for anyone in over 10 years. Sadly enough almost all of them are fake people with fake website, and spoof emails. They immediately want to do an interview over some platform. I wish the company would do more to stop this.
