Useless
Used ZipRecruiter for several months and never got a single response from an employer. Feels like a scam more than a real job search tool. Not sure what the point of this app even is completely useless in my experience.

The worst fake leads
Don’t trust these people “employers” don’t answer back I tried it for more than a year filled up more than 100 applications and I didn’t get anything not even a answer back from the fake employers

This app gives you recommendations that are completely irrelevant to your searches and will even recommend jobs one at a time and they will be jobs for places that are a 3 or 4 day drive from your location. It’s ridiculous.

Please Add SMS Verification
Overall, the app has been good, but I would like to suggest adding an alternative account recovery option. My brother lost access to the email linked to his account after Google disabled it, and because email is the only way to verify his identity, he can no longer access his ZipRecruiter account. His phone number is already connected to the account, so it would be very helpful if users could choose to receive a verification code by text message instead. Adding another recovery method like this would make the process much more convenient for customers who lose access to their email.

It’s annoying
I keep telling them I don’t have any CDL license but they still only giving me jobs that require a CDL
At first I was skeptical but..
I was skeptical at first because although I made a Zip recruiter account fresh out of high school I had only gotten like one interview in the past but Zip Recruiter has definitely come through it has helped me find one of the best jobs I have had in a while. They did even better than Indeed.

Try to open the app but it won’t let me unless I get a update, go to App Store and no update okay I guess.
No External browser
There is no external browser. ZipRecruiter is so paranoid about you using other browsers that they force you to use theirs for their application. and no, you cannot copy and paste any link because it is disabled for some reason. Good luck with trying to open up new tabs or going back on your application. Want see the status of your application? Too bad. You better Google it and hope Google finds the same page as zip recruiter so you can login. You’re better off uninstalling this app and using zip recruiter on your browser.

It continue sends me suggestions and notifications, even though I didn’t request them. In addition, none of these are relevant to any of my searches. It also sends me emails stating that a company is interested in me. When reaching out to the companies, they’re clueless about me.
