Horrible
Horrible app. It crashes frequently and often won’t even open, making it impossible to access your documents when you need them. I gave this app several chances, but it has disappointed me over and over again. Completely unreliable. Negative zero out of ten.
Useless
Company has Word documents and you can’t access them. Customer sends Word documents and you can’t read those. Useless.

Je suis surprises des commentaires moyens sur cette application alors qu’elle est géniale ! Il y a peut être eu des mis à jour depuis mais en tout cas elle marche parfaitement et est gratuite. Pour écrire c’est super, y’a le conteur de mots, on peut modifier les couleurs d’à peu près tout, après en avoir testé plusieurs c’est la meilleure !

Right time of shifting from Microsoft or Google WorkSpace to ZOHO
I genuinely want to support an Indian workspace solution, and that’s why I tried Zoho. However, Zoho Workspace is still far behind Google Workspace in core features and user experience.
Zoho Writer lacks advanced functionality and smooth collaboration compared to Google Docs. Zoho Drive’s interface and usability also do not match Google Drive standards.
Right now, this is a 1/5 experience for me — not because I dislike Zoho, but because the product is not yet competitive at a global level.
If Zoho truly aims to compete with Google Workspace, please provide a clear roadmap and a concrete deadline for achieving feature parity, especially in Writer and Drive.
I want to switch. But I need confidence that serious improvements are coming — with timelines.

mobiles beschreiben schwierig
ich bin seit neustem auf zoho writer umgestiegen, um eine simple, KI-freie und schnelle lösung zu haben, die mir nicht an jeder ecke ein abo für "Premium Features" andrehen will. grundsätzlich ist die app auch genau das, was ich wollte; mein einziges Problem ist, dass kontinuierliches Bearbeiten EINFACH NICHT FUNKTIONIERT. sobald ich bearbeiten drücke und losschreibe, ist meine tastatur innerhalb von drei sekunden wieder weg und das bearbeiten wieder beendet. sogar mitten im schreibefluss macht es davor nicht halt. wirklich ärgerlich, wenn man mehr als einen buchstaben zur zeit schreiben möchte. bitte bitte fixen, dann bin ich absolut happy mit der app!!

Desktop is way better
This app is horrible by comparison to the desktop version. It’s barely usable and has a terrible UI. please update this Zoho!!!

App glitches
Really glitchy. I downloaded this as a substitute to Google Docs as my Google account expired, but this has very limited editing. I have to copy and paste from other places to get what I want, and every time I try typing, it either doesn’t work or the keyboard goes away. Haven’t tried the browser version yet, but I wouldn’t recommend the app. I also can’t find the ways to change text size, font, and format, so I am stuck with whatever happens when I paste it in. Really wouldn’t recommend the app.

Best and affordable
iOS fonts access.
Access to iOS fonts must be enabled. Default font are less attractive. Apart from this font size customisation, paragraph formatting, super script sub script and renaming like features are to be added in this application.
Please fix this
I used to love this app because it would allow me to reread and review lengthy documents from the comfort of my cell phone. After the last update three weeks ago it now lags and crashes when I try to open larger documents. Help please!

Table not editing
After pasting a table from Zoho Sheet, the table can’t be edited. It doesn’t appear the same way as it does in Zoho Sheet — instead, it comes in a single line. How has Zoho not noticed this issue yet? I request you to fix this in the next update. Once this is resolved, the Zoho app will become even more popular than Word.

Not What is Should be
This app allows you do work offline but that is all it does. If you need to the formatting features in the online version, they are not there AT ALL. So unless you want to use it as a very basic notebook, this will not do what you want. Very disappointed with the lack of feature available. I hope they work on this soon to improve it. I need an offline version of this to incorporate this product as part of my companies ecosystem.
