Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Cliffhanger Atlas at 5.0 against ARCOS Mobile Plus's 1.3. ARCOS Mobile Plus's advantage is ratings volume (252 vs 1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Cliffhanger Atlas holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ARCOS Mobile Plus has 252 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Cliffhanger Atlas's written reviews are positive against 3% of ARCOS Mobile Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Cliffhanger Atlas ships an update every 4 months, ARCOS Mobile Plus monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
