The Wolf Creek App includes a GPS enabled yardage guide, 3D flyovers, live scoring and much more! Wolf Creek Golf Club strives to deliver the ULTIMATE GOLF EXPERIENCE to each and every guest. As you are called to the first tee and look down towards the green, you notice a one of a kind canvas. The detail of the striped emerald green fairway below, lined with brilliant white sand bunkers, you instantly know that Wolf Creek is a special place. This is only a small sample of what is yet to come. As you navigate the elevation drops and wandering canyons, you wonder how they create this miraculous golf course, each hole unto its own. After finishing all eighteen holes, you are hard pressed to come up with just one signature hole and more often than not amazed with the picturesque beauty of the course rather than the score you shot. Since opening in 2000, golfers from all over the world have travelled to Wolf Creek Golf Club in Mesquite, Nevada to experience a one of a kind golf adventure. With regularity, Wolf Creek is mentioned as a bucket list course with other courses such as Pebble Beach, Black Wolf Run, and Bandon Dunes. Many major golf publications have ranked Wolf Creek as one of the top public courses in the country. From 2008-2015, Wolf Creek has been a feature course on EA Sports Tiger Woods and the new Rory McIlroy PGA Tour video game. In 2011, Wolf Creek won the prestigious Fan Choice Award naming Wolf Creek the favorite golf course to play by golf fans worldwide. We realize it takes so much more than a beautiful, challenging golf course to be considered the Ultimate Golf Experience. It takes a committed staff dedicated to the small details and the anticipation of your needs. The staff at Wolf Creek is proud to bring you the "ULTIMATE GOLF EXPERIENCE"

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Access by Troon at 42% against Wolf Creek's 0%. Access by Troon also leads on ratings volume (34 vs 2). Wolf Creek's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.5) and monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Wolf Creek holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Access by Troon has 34 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Wolf Creek's written reviews are positive against 42% of Access by Troon's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
