Keep your boat ready. Keeply is the connected record for people who look after their own boat. Every system, every service interval, every passage in one place, with an AI assistant that has read your records and answers questions about them. SET UP IN MINUTES Tell Keeply what boat you have. It builds the equipment list and a maintenance schedule to match: engine, rigging, plumbing, electrical, safety gear. Most owners are done in about fifteen minutes rather than an evening with a spreadsheet. MAINTENANCE Recurring tasks for every system, by date or by engine hours. Keeply tracks what you've done and shows what's due, overdue, or coming up. No more guessing when you last changed the impeller. Laying up for the season? Pause the schedule and follow a short laid-up checklist until you relaunch. EQUIPMENT A card for every piece of gear, with make, model, service history, photos and manuals attached. Find the model number of your watermaker at 0300 in an anchorage. REPAIRS Log what broke and what you did about it, with photos, linked to the equipment it affects. A running record for insurance, resale, or the next yard quote. LOGBOOK Passages with crew, weather, watch entries, and pre-departure and arrival checklists. Watch entries fill in your position from the phone's GPS, offshore too. Export your logbook as a PDF or CSV. FIRST MATE Ask in plain English, or just say what you did. "Changed the oil and filter, engine's at 1,240 hours." First Mate sets up the task, the hours, a repair or a new equipment card, and saves it when you tap Save. Tap the mic to talk instead of type. Answers come from your boat's records, not from the internet. WORKS OFFLINE Built for boats, which usually means no signal. Your records stay readable and editable without a connection and sync when you're back in range. First Mate needs a connection; nothing else does. YOUR RECORDS ARE YOURS Export a PDF service record of every equipment card and its history for a buyer, surveyor or insurer, or a full CSV backup of everything. Free on every plan. FREE One vessel, 10 equipment cards, unlimited repairs and maintenance tasks, engine hours, 5 logbook passages, 50 First Mate questions a month, lists, haul-out planner, custom lists, crew sharing, record export (PDF and CSV). No card required. BOATER - $4.99/month or $47.99/year Unlimited equipment and passages, live passage tracking with watch entries, 200 First Mate questions a month. Built by a cruiser, for boaters. Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Keeply at 100% against Superhuman Mail's 41%. Keeply also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Superhuman Mail's advantage is ratings volume (3.7K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Superhuman Mail sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per month and Keeply sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Keeply holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Superhuman Mail has 3.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 41% of Superhuman Mail's written reviews are positive against 100% of Keeply's.
Superhuman Mail ships an update weekly, Keeply every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
