Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Nextcloud at weekly against CiviMobile's every 2 months. Nextcloud also leads on ratings volume (10K vs 18). CiviMobile's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 61%) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Nextcloud against 4.6 for CiviMobile. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nextcloud has 10K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 61% of Nextcloud's written reviews are positive against 88% of CiviMobile's.
