Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Bachata Pro at free with in-app purchases against CLI Conservatory Online's subscription. Bachata Pro also leads on review sentiment (70% vs 36%) and iOS requirement (11.3 vs 15.0). CLI Conservatory Online's advantage is ratings volume (992 vs 18) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CLI Conservatory Online sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Bachata Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
CLI Conservatory Online holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CLI Conservatory Online has 992 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of CLI Conservatory Online's written reviews are positive against 70% of Bachata Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
CLI Conservatory Online ships an update monthly, Bachata Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
