Verdict
AeraForHome and Vestaboard both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 71% of Vestaboard's written reviews are positive against 28% of AeraForHome's. AeraForHome's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (5.4K vs 141). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
AeraForHome holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AeraForHome has 5.4K ratings behind it against 141, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of AeraForHome's written reviews are positive against 71% of Vestaboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
