Vibration meter is an app called seismograph or seismometer, which measures the strength of vibration, quakes, earthquakes, vibrations of the human body or any other objects around you. Our app allows for detecting and recording of seismic waves generated by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, avalanches and other sources of vibration and shocks. Accelerometer in your mobile phone is used for detection of vibrations and measurement analysis. Graph presents a record of the ground motion at a measuring point. Ground movement or an object is presented as a function of time in the three Cartesian axes, with the z axis perpendicular to the Earth's surface and the x- and y- axes parallel to the surface. Mercalli intensity scale is a seismic scale used for measuring the intensity of an earthquake. It measures the effects of an earthquake and it is distinct from the moment of magnitude. Richter Scale assigns a magnitude number to quantify the energy released by an earthquake. Peak Ground Acceleration (PGA) is equal to the maximum ground acceleration that occurred during earthquake shaking at location. PGA is equal to the amplitude of the largest absolute acceleration recorded on an accelerogram at a site during a particular earthquake. In this app we use Instrumental Intensity Scale (developed by The United States Geological Survey) which maps peak ground acceleration and peak ground velocity on an intensity scale similar to the felt Mercalli Scale. These values are used to create shake maps by seismologists on around the world. Mercalli Intensity Scale distinguishes the following levels of vibration and impact damage: I. Instrumental - Not felt. Recorded by seismographs. II. Weak - Felt only on top floors of high buildings. III. Slight - Felt indoors, like a passing light truck. IV. Moderate - Windows, doors rattle. Like passing train. V. Rather Strong - Felt by all. Small objects upset. VI. Strong - Books off shelves. Trees shake. Damage. VII. Very Strong - Difficult to stand. Buildings damaged. VIII. Destructive - Significant damage. Trees broken. IX. Violent - General panic. Serious damage. Cracks. X. Intense - Most buildings destroyed. Rails bent. XI. Extreme - Rails bent greatly. Pipelines destroyed. XII. Catastrophic - Near total damage. This app allows you monitor and share the results of your measurements with other users. Measure and monitor all vibration and shocks using smartphone or tablet!

Electronic Device Detector/Finder app facilitates you to detect any kind of electronics in your vicinity. It is for you if you usually forget where you have put your phone and its on silent. You can easily find lost or hidden devices nearby. App Provides you with 2 modes: 1- Infrared Detector - You can detect Remotes or IR cameras with this mode or any device which emits an IR light. Just close all lights in the place you are and open IR camera mode and scan moving iPhone full 360 degrees, If you see white light or blue light that is invisible to naked eye, then it is infrared light and it could be infrared camera or a remote, well you have to inspect further. Usage: Test with TV remote control light - See TV remote control head with normal eye and press any button, you will not see any light. Then open normal camera or open app and see through the camera - you will see white light. Reason for this is that infrared light is not visible to naked eye but it is visible when seen through a camera. This way you can easily detect IR emitting devices if any. 2. Scan with magnetic sensor – With this mode, app analyse magnetic field around the phone. This feature enables you to find electronic devices like mobile, laptop/pc, cameras etc. If there is a high magnetic filed around, the app will show a warning so you can further investigate. Usage: Move top of your iPhone very close to the object you suspect. It could be screw, flowerpot, shower head, toys or anything that you find suspicious. If app shows a warning when the phone is brought closer to the object, further investigate for camera lens or a mobile phone or any electronic device. It can also be used as hidden camera detector while staying at a hotel room. App also provide you with tip & Tricks so that you can stay protected with some simple tricks or hacks whenever you are in public place. Please rate, comment if you like our app so that we can improve further.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Vibration Meter, seismograph at Free against Electronic Device Detector's $0.99. Vibration Meter, seismograph also leads on update cadence (every 7 months vs every 45 months) and review sentiment (42% vs 25%). Electronic Device Detector's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.
