Happisodes vs Eolas Flexicollect

Since March 2023 Happy Thinking People is part of Human8. Happisodes is a research app from independent qualitative research consultancy. The app is designed so our Researchers can chat directly with you on your mobile, post questions, invite you to complete tasks, and of course for the researchers themselves to respond to your questions or feedback. The app is a closed community in a closed web environment – to participate, you will need an invitation from us, with a login and password. Each survey will have specific sign-in requirements. The types of research projects and tasks vary – it could involve us asking you to post photos, for example, make a short video, including with text comment, or selecting pictures from a selection, maybe even simply sending a text message. More general tasks can run over a number of days – for example, a general assignment might be keeping track of what you drink at all times of the day from Monday to Friday. Or they can be restricted to one task per day. A project can be a research community – which allow participants to read and react to one another’s posts. Every project has a Moderator, who can communicate with the participants through the web or through the closed environment of the app. All moderator comments or questions are in a different colour. Once you’ve downloaded the project, you can complete the tasks in both on and offline mode – the app works without an internet connection. Some projects will involve trying to understand where you are when you are participating – these will ask you to keep your GPS function running. All the responses will be available in real-time to the Researchers running the project. They will moderate sensitively and come back to you as quickly as possible if there’s something they need to understand better. All tasks are designed to be short, relevant and fun to do. This app has been developed by Eolas International, an International Market and Consumer research company. Flexicollect is a flexible data collection system built for our team of part time researchers and consumers to gather a variety of data on product quality and consumer experiences. Tasks are generally carried out in the area of Market and Consumer research however not exclusively so. How it works -Flexicollect is an app onto which Eolas can publish custom tasks they have created in their data management system. -It enables the user to access tasks, for the purpose of allowing the user to earn experience points by carrying out micro-jobs on a voluntary basis. Examples of these task types could the capturing of product experiences in the user’s home, visiting a store to capture images of products and their display areas and filling out questionnaires on their usage habits of products and services.
