Once you start playing - oh my gosh - it's like wait, they're attacking me! I'm not just swiping. It's not passive. These guys are moving trying to eliminate me. It's actually quite fun." - Apple WatchCast "One level of Tiny Armies takes a mere minute which makes it perfect for short play sessions. The game is fun and fairly challenging, you’ll need some good tactics to play a couple moves ahead and take down Red." - 5 Minute Games
Morass
Read full descriptionHide full description
Morass is a quiet strategy game about the hardest line to draw: the edge of what you hold. You place pins on a landscape of hills, valleys, and water. After every move, Morass reads the terrain and redraws the borders — your ground against theirs — with the boundary settling like water finding its level. Hold the high ground and your influence reaches further. Cluster your pins and you harden a stronghold. Overreach, and the marsh takes back what you couldn't keep. It learns in a single round and stays with you for a hundred. No timers, no noise — just you, the board, and the slow tightening of a line. PLAY YOUR WAY • Solo against an adaptive opponent that scales to your skill — and stays honestly beatable at the very top • Practice mode with undo and no rating, to try a line without consequence • Two players, pass-and-play on one device BUILT TO BE CALM • A spare, tactile board in warm light or quiet dark • The same game across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch • Free — no ads, and no tracking of any kind. The only purchase is a tip jar, if it's earned one. ABOUT THE NAME A morass is boundary ground: the place where solid land and open water stop being distinct, where the edge is the exact thing that's hard to locate. That's the whole game: finding the line in terrain that resists having one. Made by one person. If a quiet minute or two of it lands, that means a lot.
