Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Dropset at none against Setgraph's shown. Dropset also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (78% vs 67%). Setgraph's advantage is ratings volume (6.1K vs 96) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Setgraph sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Dropset sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Setgraph holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Setgraph has 6.1K ratings behind it against 96, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Setgraph's written reviews are positive against 78% of Dropset's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Setgraph ships an update every 3 weeks, Dropset every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
