Ride it. Replay it. Then sleep through the night. AnchorQueen is built for the whole day on the water — Sea Sports on iPhone and Apple Watch, offline S-52 charts when you cruise, and an AI co-captain that keeps anchor watch while you rest. One app from the first jump to the last swing at anchor. SEA SPORTS THAT FEEL ALIVE Press and hold Voyage. Pick jet ski, kitesurf, wingfoil, surf, dinghy, kayak, SUP, canoe, rowing, swimming, freediving — 17 sports in all. Live numbers on the chart. Every jump, wave, tack, and stroke. Personal bests. Wind at the moment it happened. Then a 3D Trackcam replay you can orbit like a film set. Start from your wrist; Apple Watch sessions are saved to the Apple Health app as workouts and sync back into your passages. SHARE THE DAY IN 3D Turn a sport session, a coastal hop, or a quiet anchorage into a cinematic 9:16 reel on device. Sunny day or miniature tilt-shift. Share to Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, or Photos — with a link friends can spin in 3D. CHARTS YOU CAN TRUST OFFSHORE Nautica Day and Nautica Night S-52 IHO vector charts: soundings, buoys, lights, hazards, six day/night depth palettes. Download a region once and keep sailing when the cell signal dies. Charts refresh on Wi‑Fi only — never over mobile data, and never while anchor watch or guidance is running. ROUTE SMART. PADDLE SAFE. Long-press a destination for depth-safe routing matched to your draft. Live bearing, SOG, XTE, and fuel burn by vessel class. Shore-hugging paddle routes for kayak, SUP, canoe, and rowing keep you out of shipping lanes. AIS, WEATHER, AND THE SHIP'S JOURNAL Live AIS with COLREGS-aware warnings. Blended marine forecasts — wind, gusts, waves, tides, 7-day meteograms — with shoreline-aware pins. Your Ship's Journal sketches the day: distance made good, track, key moments, jump to any date. JULES STANDS THE WATCH Drop the hook. Jules separates normal swing from real drag and only wakes you for danger. An OS-level geofence keeps guard even if iOS closes the app. Ask Jules in plain language for tide windows, anchorage ratings, and route briefings — it already sees your wind, depth, and position. CHARTER WITHOUT LEAVING THE CHART Browse charter fleets on the map, compare boats, and watch 30-day price trends before you commit. WHY BOATERS SWITCH • Sea Sports + Watch recording most chart apps never touch • True offline S-52 navigation and depth-aware routing • AI anchor alarm that respects your sleep • 3D reels and sea state that make the day shareable Unlike typical chartplotter apps, AnchorQueen is built for both the adrenaline run and the quiet night on the hook. PLANS • Free — Anchor alarm, offline navigation, standard marine weather • PRO — Jules, 3D sea state, passage reels, Sea Sports tools, advanced charts (1-month free trial) • MAX — Unlimited offline regions, maximum Jules capacity Monthly or discounted annual. Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: Doyle Guides at none against AnchorQueen Jules's shown. Doyle Guides also leads on review sentiment (60% vs 28%) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.6). AnchorQueen Jules's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (164 vs 50). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

AnchorQueen Jules holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 164 and 50 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of AnchorQueen Jules's written reviews are positive against 60% of Doyle Guides's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

AnchorQueen Jules ships an update every 4 weeks, Doyle Guides every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
