Bend conduit right the first time. Bend Aid is a professional conduit bending solver that uses the correct mathematical formulas for the shapes conduit is actually bent into — not the cosecant shortcut, not charts, not correction factors. An offset is not a right triangle. A right triangle has three straight lines; an offset has two bends and a straight section, and gain happens in every bend. The cosecant method has been used for almost 100 years as a "trick of the trade" because the correct math is too complicated to do by hand — it's "close enough most of the time," until a large bend radius or bend angle forces you to fix the bend. It's not your fault you were taught tricks. Bend Aid does the correct math for you. HOW IT WORKS Measure where the conduit has to fit, enter your dimensions, and use the answers to lay out the bend. Measure any two of the four right-triangle values and Bend Aid solves the rest — including the bend angle, which is not the same as the measured angle. Bend Aid solves the whole offset, from the start of the first bend to the finish of the second, and finds the smallest bend angle that fits between obstructions or supports — making wire pulling easier, reducing strain on conductors, and saving fittings, nipples, and material. WHAT BEND AID SOLVES • Offsets — including rack and concentric offsets • Saddles — 3-point and 4-point, with rack and concentric variations • Kicks — simple kicks, rack and concentric kicks, kicks to horizontal or vertical • Nineties — single 90s, back-to-back, rack, and concentric bends • Right triangles — enter any two values, get the rest • Find Bend Radius — measure your bender's true centerline radius • Chart Bender — solve bends using your bender's chart values EVERY ANSWER YOU NEED Bend Aid gives you all the numbers the old methods can't: where every bend mark goes, the total finished length, whether the conduit will still fit in the bender for the second bend, and the layout dimensions to cut and thread to length when needed. WORKS WITH ANY CONDUIT Bend Aid solves the centerline of the bends, so it works with any type and any size of conduit — EMT, rigid, IMC, PVC — and any bender, once you know its centerline radius. YOUR NUMBERS, YOUR FORMAT Enter and read answers in decimal inches, fractions to 1/16" or 1/32", or millimeters. Real-time validation catches entry errors before they reach the conduit. BUILT FOR THE TRADE If your job is skilled labor, you know tools are how the work gets done. Benders, tape measures, levels, and pencils are tools — Bend Aid is the tool that ties them together. Stop guessing, stop practice-bending, stop wasting time and material. Measure, enter, bend.

Ask BONBON (formerly Ask NETA) is the AI assistant built for electricians. Get instant National Electrical Code (NEC) answers, blueprint analysis, inspection reports on your work photos, and a full set of electrical calculators, right on the jobsite. Whether you are an apprentice, journeyman, master electrician, inspector, contractor, or solar installer, Ask BONBON turns code questions into clear answers in seconds. NEW: UPLOADS, FROM BLUEPRINT TO PLAN OVERVIEW Included with BONBON Plus. Upload electrical blueprints as PDFs or photos and ask questions about your own plans. BONBON reads the plan set and builds a Plan Overview of the whole job: - Square footage and suggested main panel size - NEC 220 load calculation summary - Suggested subpanels and circuit counts - Counts of recessed lights, receptacles, smoke and combo detectors, sconces, and LED strips - A rough materials list to kick off your estimate Every number is labeled as counted from the plans or estimated, so you always know what to verify. Save the overview as a PDF, print it, or share it with your crew with a link. NEW: INSPECTION REPORTS FROM YOUR PHOTOS Also included with BONBON Plus. Upload photos of your rough-in or finished work and get an Inspection Report: an approval rating and findings checked against the NEC, so you can fix issues before the inspector shows up. Or just ask a question about the photo. INSTANT NEC ANSWERS Stop flipping through the code book. Ask any electrical question, like "What are the grounding requirements for a detached garage subpanel?" and get the exact NEC reference with a plain language explanation. SMART TROUBLESHOOTING Describe the problem and BONBON helps you diagnose issues, identify components, and find code-compliant fixes faster. With Plus, add a photo of the install. ELECTRICAL CALCULATORS Conduit fill, voltage drop, box fill, wire sizing, load calculations, conduit bending, motor circuits, grounding and bonding, solar, and more. PASS INSPECTIONS THE FIRST TIME Verify your work against the code before the inspector shows up. Fewer callbacks, fewer red tags. LEARN ON THE JOB BONBON does not just give you the answer, it explains the why behind the code, so every question makes you a better electrician. MULTILINGUAL SUPPORT Ask in Spanish, French, or another language and BONBON answers in that language, so the whole crew stays on the same page. QUESTIONS ELECTRICIANS ASK BONBON EVERY DAY - What size wire do I need for a 60 amp subpanel? - How many receptacles can I put on a 20 amp circuit? - How full can my conduit be? - What is the NEC 220 load calculation for a 2,000 sq ft house? Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Ask BONBON at Free against Bend Aid's $3.99. Ask BONBON also leads on review sentiment (86% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 12 months). Bend Aid's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Ask BONBON is free to download; Bend Aid costs $3.99 up front. Ask BONBON sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Bend Aid asks for nothing beyond the download.
Bend Aid holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ask BONBON has 45 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Bend Aid's written reviews are positive against 86% of Ask BONBON's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Bend Aid ships an update every 12 months, Ask BONBON every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
