iBend Pipe — Bend It Right the First Time iBend Pipe is a professional conduit bending calculator designed to help electricians make accurate bends faster and reduce wasted material. Whether you're bending a simple offset or laying out a complex compound bend around an obstruction, iBend Pipe gives you the information you need to bend it right—the first time. CONDUIT BENDING CALCULATORS Calculate the following bends using English or Metric measurements: • Offsets — bend toward or away from an obstruction • Rolling Offsets — bend toward or away from an obstruction • Parallel Offset Adjustments • 3-Bend Saddles • 4-Bend Saddles • Segmented Bends • 90° Bends • Back-to-Back 90° Bends • Kicked 90° Bends • Compound 90° Bends around round obstructions • Compound 90° Bends around square obstructions • Compound 90° Bends around rectangular obstructions FAST, ONE-SCREEN CALCULATIONS Enter your measurements and see results update instantly. There’s no need to work through multiple screens just to get a measurement. iBend Pipe is designed to keep the calculation and results visible so you can work quickly and efficiently. Large, easy-to-read measurements make the app practical to use on the job. ACCURATE, PRACTICAL RESULTS iBend Pipe goes beyond basic bending multipliers. Centerline bending radius calculations are available for greater accuracy, and bends automatically account for shrink so you don't have to do the math yourself. Pre-position your bends, plan your layout, and get the information you need before you start bending. What's faster—bending it twice or bending it right the first time? PROTRACTOR INCLUDED Use the built-in protractor to measure your bend angle as you bend. The measured angle can be sent directly back to your calculation, helping you work faster without switching between tools. BENDER PROFILES iBend Pipe includes nearly 100 bender and conduit combinations. You can also customize or modify profiles to match the benders and conduit you use in the field. FRACTIONS, NOT JUST DECIMALS Enter measurements as fractions instead of converting everything to decimals. Get your results in practical measurements you can use on the job. BUILT FOR ELECTRICIANS iBend Pipe is for the electrician who takes pride in their work. If you're the person other electricians come to when they have a difficult bend, this app is for you. If you want less wasted conduit in the bone pile, this app is for you. If you can write your name in conduit, this app is definitely for you. From a first-year apprentice to a seasoned journeyman, iBend Pipe is designed to save time, reduce wasted material, and make difficult conduit bends easier to plan. Bend it right. The first time. Bend conduit right the first time. Bend Aid is a professional conduit bending solver that uses the correct mathematical formulas for the shapes conduit is actually bent into — not the cosecant shortcut, not charts, not correction factors. An offset is not a right triangle. A right triangle has three straight lines; an offset has two bends and a straight section, and gain happens in every bend. The cosecant method has been used for almost 100 years as a "trick of the trade" because the correct math is too complicated to do by hand — it's "close enough most of the time," until a large bend radius or bend angle forces you to fix the bend. It's not your fault you were taught tricks. Bend Aid does the correct math for you. HOW IT WORKS Measure where the conduit has to fit, enter your dimensions, and use the answers to lay out the bend. Measure any two of the four right-triangle values and Bend Aid solves the rest — including the bend angle, which is not the same as the measured angle. Bend Aid solves the whole offset, from the start of the first bend to the finish of the second, and finds the smallest bend angle that fits between obstructions or supports — making wire pulling easier, reducing strain on conductors, and saving fittings, nipples, and material. WHAT BEND AID SOLVES • Offsets — including rack and concentric offsets • Saddles — 3-point and 4-point, with rack and concentric variations • Kicks — simple kicks, rack and concentric kicks, kicks to horizontal or vertical • Nineties — single 90s, back-to-back, rack, and concentric bends • Right triangles — enter any two values, get the rest • Find Bend Radius — measure your bender's true centerline radius • Chart Bender — solve bends using your bender's chart values EVERY ANSWER YOU NEED Bend Aid gives you all the numbers the old methods can't: where every bend mark goes, the total finished length, whether the conduit will still fit in the bender for the second bend, and the layout dimensions to cut and thread to length when needed. WORKS WITH ANY CONDUIT Bend Aid solves the centerline of the bends, so it works with any type and any size of conduit — EMT, rigid, IMC, PVC — and any bender, once you know its centerline radius. YOUR NUMBERS, YOUR FORMAT Enter and read answers in decimal inches, fractions to 1/16" or 1/32", or millimeters. Real-time validation catches entry errors before they reach the conduit. BUILT FOR THE TRADE If your job is skilled labor, you know tools are how the work gets done. Benders, tape measures, levels, and pencils are tools — Bend Aid is the tool that ties them together. Stop guessing, stop practice-bending, stop wasting time and material. Measure, enter, bend.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Bend Aid at 5.0 against iBend Pipe's 4.2. Bend Aid also leads on price ($3.99 vs $4.99) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). iBend Pipe's advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 50%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 12 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

iBend Pipe costs $4.99 and Bend Aid $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Bend Aid holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iBend Pipe has 101 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of iBend Pipe's written reviews are positive against 50% of Bend Aid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
iBend Pipe ships an update fortnightly, Bend Aid every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
