Simple QR Kit is a clean, honest QR code scanner and generator — built for people tired of apps that block the camera with ads or trap you in a subscription just to scan a code. SCAN Point your camera at any QR code to instantly open links, connect to Wi-Fi, or save a contact. We never show ads over the scanner — the camera view stays completely clear, every time. Built-in warnings flag shortened or unusual links before you open them, so you always know what you're about to visit. CREATE • Text & URL QR codes — share any link or message • Wi-Fi QR codes — let guests join your network instantly, no typing required • Business card (vCard) QR codes — share your contact details, importable straight from your Contacts Every code you create can be saved, shared, or saved directly to Photos. HISTORY Every scan is saved automatically so you can find it again later — no account, no sign-in required. HONEST BY DESIGN • No subscriptions, no paywalls, no "free trial" tricks • No ads over the camera — ever • A small banner ad appears only on History, Generate, and Settings • All your data stays on your device Simple QR Kit does one thing well: scanning and creating QR codes, without the clutter.

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: AlertCops at none against Simple QR Kit's shown. AlertCops also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Simple QR Kit's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
