Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Wallet Creator at 4.2 against SimpleEdit's 3.5. Wallet Creator also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (348 vs 22). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimpleEdit sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Wallet Creator asks for nothing beyond the download.
Wallet Creator holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wallet Creator has 348 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of SimpleEdit's written reviews are positive against 57% of Wallet Creator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
SimpleEdit ships an update every 3 weeks, Wallet Creator fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
