Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
UCLA Mindful holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UCLA Mindful has 176 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of PRISM Resilience's written reviews are positive against 77% of UCLA Mindful's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
PRISM Resilience ships an update monthly, UCLA Mindful every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
