Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Cinnabon at 4.7 against Menchie's's 3.1. Cinnabon also leads on ratings volume (8.3K vs 110) and review sentiment (34% vs 22%). Menchie's's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Cinnabon holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cinnabon has 8.3K ratings behind it against 110, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 22% of Menchie's's written reviews are positive against 34% of Cinnabon's.
Menchie's ships an update every 10 days, Cinnabon every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
