Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: CommandIQ® at 4.3 against KODA Light Cam's 2.7. CommandIQ® also leads on ratings volume (2.2K vs 16). KODA Light Cam's advantage is review sentiment (45% vs 23%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
CommandIQ® holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CommandIQ® has 2.2K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of KODA Light Cam's written reviews are positive against 23% of CommandIQ®'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
