Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: Vernier Graphical Analysis at 529 against miniPCR v3's 8. Vernier Graphical Analysis also leads on rating (2.1 vs 1.9). miniPCR v3's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 32%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Vernier Graphical Analysis holds the better App Store score, 2.1 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vernier Graphical Analysis has 529 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Vernier Graphical Analysis's written reviews are positive against 50% of miniPCR v3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
