Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: AWS GraphWidget at 5.0 against Datadog's 4.3. AWS GraphWidget also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). Datadog's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

AWS GraphWidget holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Datadog has 293 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Datadog's written reviews are positive against 0% of AWS GraphWidget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Datadog ships an update every 9 days, AWS GraphWidget every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
