Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Google Fi Wireless at 4.4 against LeaveWeb Mobile's 2.5. Google Fi Wireless also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 12) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). LeaveWeb Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (31% vs 9%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Google Fi Wireless holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Fi Wireless has 20K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of Google Fi Wireless's written reviews are positive against 31% of LeaveWeb Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Google Fi Wireless ships an update monthly, LeaveWeb Mobile every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
