Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Atomi Smart at 4.8 against Aiper's 4.1. Atomi Smart also leads on ratings volume (20K vs 267). Aiper's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 24%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Atomi Smart holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Atomi Smart has 20K ratings behind it against 267, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 24% of Atomi Smart's written reviews are positive against 47% of Aiper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Atomi Smart ships an update every 3 months, Aiper every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
