Garbage
The app keeps getting worse. After the “update” everything was gone and had to be added back. Big pain in the butt. Why is the weather in this app? Nobody is coming to this app for the weather. No option to turn it off either. I love the products but this app gets worse and worse with every update.
Account require to use… a light?
If I had known, when I purchased my lights, Atomi would have someday cornholed me into creating an account just to use… some lights, if all things, I never ever would have bought the product. So now my lights are dead, unless I create an account and let them harvest my data. I’m hoping for a class action lawsuit against companies like this that sell you a functional product, then force you to give up personal information later on to use it. Just to make it clear, this is a LIGHT!!!! Ridiculous.

Not impressed
I got the app because I got one of the devices as a gift and I have been trying for like a week and it still isn’t connecting to my device and I have moved around my house but it keeps saying that my connection is unstable or unreliable WiFi connection when I have all bars I am just overall disappointed with the app and how I’m not able to connect to a device that said it would be “easy” to connect to would not recommend this app to anyone.

My app looks nothing like this!
I bought these lights for the various colors and scenes but I can’t seem to figure out how to get to the scenes control. I downloaded this app and I don’t see the scenes that are shown. Mine basically has an on off button. I think the problem may be that I linked to my google nest. I tried unlinking but no difference. I just have the google nest colors which limits what these lights are capable of. I’ll contact support on Monday as I want a Christmas theme. This is a lot of work and frustration though. I wish it was easy!

Can’t control colors through software
Bought these at Costco So I thought they’d be quality… wrong!
Lights have trouble changing to colors do the holiday season. Randomly any one can turn on or off at any time.
Try to download the the newest app and it says I have it, but the screens don’t match what is depicted.
Issue is not my WI-FI. Extremely disappointing product… surprised Costco sold them… though they do not anymore so I queso’s they figure it out.

Think they sold my email address to EVERYONE and their moms and more
I don’t know it’s bc of them but it’s certainly overly coincidental that as soon as I said yes to their privacy lawyery policy that my email lit up like a Christmas tree that’s pushed so hard it’s gonna catch fire - I’m deleting the app and never gonna use it again !!!!! If it is you guys you all deserve some karma to hit you hard

Update killed my lights
So the latest update has given me nothing but issues with the wifi connection to my flood lights. They will no longer turn on by timer. You have to go into the app and reconnect the lights. Once they are connected they will work again for a few hours. Hope this gets fixed soon.

There has been now update in “scenes”…! No new options, no new functions no new holidays. This is what “smart” devices were like 20 years ago. Higher new programmers. This is embarrassing.

The schedule does not work right. You select AM and when you save it says Pm.
When you tap on schedule screen it will not stay on that screen. It will flash that screen for a second then go to another screen

New upgrade ruined my strands
I had three strands connected in series for years which worked flawlessly. Now the app updated and I have nothing but problems. I tried resetting the strips several times. Now 2 of the 3 strips don’t work and the one that does goes back to the multi color setting every time it turns on. It doesn’t save it’s last setting.

Update… really?
There has been now update in “scenes”…! No new options/styled, holidays, or functions of the light strings in the 5 years I’ve owned them
Malfunctioning lights
I’ve had two strands malfunction. After the first strand messed up, I bought another to replace it and it ended up doing the exact same thing. Half the strands worked correctly, but the other half stayed in display mode and won’t change, despite any efforts. I will not be buying again.
Atomi Costco String Lights Limited Customization
These need more customization for colors/modes. Pretty boring few in the app. Cant control speed, etc of them.
Inconsistent
We have the smart lights on our back deck. We have the setting to be constant low level light. The system constantly changes the lights to run on flashing lights. It drives me nuts. We have now just unplugged them and no longer use the lights.
Don’t waste your money
Don’t waste your money on Atomi Smart outdoor pathway lights. We purchased ours through Costco. After 90 days the problems began and have never stopped. The app is worthless; the lights sometimes connect and most of the time it tells me they are offline. I’ve tried everything they recommend but nothing works. Very disappointing!

Update is amazing
Before the update the app was maybe a 3. You had to go into your devices to do anything. But now it has all the options without even having to go into the device itself. It’s such a great update. The only thing I want is a dark mode for the app because it’s EXTREMELY BRIGHT. Especially when I’m trying to adjust my fan speed or something in the middle of the night

App forgot everything after working fine for 2 months
This app got an update recently and wow does it stink. It was bad before but the new updated version doesn’t remember the configuration of our devices and won’t talk to our network anymore. No place in the app to troubleshoot WiFi. Giant disappointment.
