Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: AUS.TV at 100% against Showpass's 16%. AUS.TV also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Showpass's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Showpass ships an update fortnightly, AUS.TV every 3 months. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
