Verdict
Lean and Jump Rope Fit both sit at 4.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 89% of Lean's written reviews are positive against 58% of Jump Rope Fit's. Lean also leads on device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Jump Rope Fit's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (332 vs 65). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lean sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Jump Rope Fit sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Jump Rope Fit holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jump Rope Fit has 332 ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Lean's written reviews are positive against 58% of Jump Rope Fit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Lean ships an update monthly, Jump Rope Fit weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
