Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: AppWork at free against Ceri's freemium. AppWork also leads on ratings volume (476 vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for AppWork against 5.0 for Ceri. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AppWork has 476 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 97% of AppWork's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ceri's.
AppWork ships an update weekly, Ceri every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
