Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: SEIS Tracker at 3.0 against Pearson Authenticator's 2.6. Pearson Authenticator's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
SEIS Tracker holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 10 and 11 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of SEIS Tracker's written reviews are positive against 7% of Pearson Authenticator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
