Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Cookeries at none against Crumbl's shown. Cookeries also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Crumbl's advantage is ratings volume (5.7M vs 1) and chart position (#60 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Crumbl against 5.0 for Cookeries. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Crumbl has 5.7M ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Crumbl ships an update weekly, Cookeries fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
