Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Nevvon at 3.5 against NYCPS's 1.7. Nevvon also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (393 vs 73). NYCPS's advantage is iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Nevvon holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nevvon has 393 ratings behind it against 73, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of Nevvon's written reviews are positive against 11% of NYCPS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Nevvon ships an update every 3 weeks, NYCPS every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
