Verdict
Luxer One and oozu both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of oozu's written reviews are positive against 11% of Luxer One's. oozu also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Luxer One's advantage is ratings volume (32K vs 8) and chart position (#121 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Luxer One against 4.8 for oozu. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Luxer One has 32K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 11% of Luxer One's written reviews are positive against 100% of oozu's.
Luxer One ships an update every 2 months, oozu weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
